Traineeship Declaration by Amy Landry

My name is Amy Landry and I am originally from Canada. I started my traineeship with Headway Dynamics in May 2007 and it will last until April 2008.

Since I have started my traineeship in the Philippines I have enjoyed many different experiences - from swimming with the whale-sharks in Donsol to surfing in La Union. It is easy and safe to travel pretty much every weekend here. The Philippines is an amazing part of the world allowing me to learn and grow every step of the way.

Learning does not just come from the different culture experience that I have received from the Philippines I also have the opportunity to work for a company that gives me the responsibility of a real employee. This can be challenging at times but it has allowed me to expand my work experience and I have become more independent and knowledgeable from the work they have given me.

Overall, my experience in the Philippines and with Headway Dynamics has been a positive one. A new country can be overwhelming at times, however, the people here at Headway make that culture shock as minimal as possible. They provide all the trainees with the support and friendship they need to have a fantastic traineeship. I recommend Headway Dynamics and the Philippines for any trainee that wants to learn, grow, and experience something outside the ordinary.
